Jeshi la Polisi Mkoa wa Dodoma linamshikilia dereva wa TARURA, Sath John Masawa (31), kwa tuhuma za kumtishia kwa kutumia kitu kilichodhaniwa kuwa bastola dereva wa basi la kampuni ya Satco, Said Fadhil (54), linalofanya safari kwa kutumia namba za usajili T 308 EME. Akizungumza kuhusu tukio hilo, Kamanda wa Polisi Mkoa wa Dodoma, Gallus Hyera, amesema baada ya kumkamata mtuhumiwa huyo, Jeshi la Polisi lilifanya uchunguzi na kubaini kuwa kitu hicho hakikuwa bastola halisi kama ilivyodhaniwa awali, bali kilikuwa ni bastola ya kuchezea (toyi). Aidha, Hyera amesema wakati wa tukio hilo gari la TARURA lilikuwa likitumia namba za usajili T 881 ENZ badala ya namba zake halali STM 5806, ambazo ni mali ya TARURA, huku namba T 881 ENZ zikiwa ni mali ya mtu mwingine. Jeshi la Polisi limeonya madereva na wamiliki wa magari kuacha kutumia namba za usajili zisizo halali, likisema kufanya hivyo ni kinyume cha sheria na kunaweza kuchukuliwa hatua za kisheria.
