On this night....25 years ago 246 people went to sleep in preparation for their morning flights. 2,606 people went to sleep in preparation for work in the morning. 343 firefighters went to sleep in preparation for their morning shift. 60 police officers went to sleep in preparation for morning patrol. 8 paramedics went to sleep in preparation for the morning shift. None of them saw past 10:00am Sept 11, 2001. In one single moment life may never be the same. As you live and enjoy the breaths you take today and tonight before you go to sleep in preparation for your life tomorrow, kiss the ones you love, snuggle a little tighter, and never take one second of your life for granted. #wewillneverforget ❤️

I’m crying. I lost my step sister. My heart is hurting. Every year I live through the same hurt. To see the buildings through the drones is amazing but it still hurts. She was in the second tower and her daughter was only 6 years old at the time. I miss her.

Lost my uncle who was on ladder 101… RIP 💔 truly broken that this world has forgotten and divided. 9/12/01 was the most quite loved day where racism and division never existed that day

I sat in my kindergarten class. My mom worked on 52nd. We weren’t reunited until 10pm and it was the scariest day of my life but i am always grateful she walked over that bridge

My uncle was in a tower, escaped, ran 32 blocks for his life before stopping to turn around. I am forever grateful, and sending prayers to all of those who lost loved ones💛
