day in the life of a marketing lead working in AI 🪽 (cracking up at how i’m literally half awake in the beginning of my video) it’s been amazing not having to commute to san francisco as often now that i’m getting ready to move to new york, but this was one of those rare days where i had to fly in and be in office to film some content. i was on set for most of the day, which is honestly one of my favorite parts of my job. there’s something about being on set where i feel like i know exactly what i’m doing. i know what i want things to look like, i know how i want everything to come together, and it’s always nice being able to have that level of control over the quality bar. outside of work though, i feel like i’ve been experiencing a very strange mix of emotions lately. i’m excited, overwhelmed, conflicted, curious, and probably a million other things at the same time lol. i feel like every caption i’ve written over the past few months has somehow mentioned how overwhelmed i am, but i genuinely don’t think i realized how exhausting it would be to constantly be in transition. for the past three months, it feels like i’ve been on a flight every single week. a different city, a different state, a different hotel, and then back home just long enough to repack everything and leave again. i quite literally haven’t fully unpacked my suitcase because there hasn’t really been a point. i think if i could tell my younger self anything, it would be that sometimes the life you worked really hard for is also going to be the life that overwhelms you. i used to think that once i got the job, made the money, traveled more, or reached whatever next milestone i had in my head, life would somehow feel more settled. but i’m realizing that every new opportunity comes with a new version of your life that you have to learn how to handle. and maybe growing into the life you wanted isn’t supposed to feel comfortable all the time. sometimes you’re going to be incredibly grateful for where you are while also being exhausted by what it took to get there. i don’t think those feelings cancel each other out. you can be proud of the life you’ve built and still need a second to catch up to it. anyways, another week, another flight, and somehow we’re almost at the actual move to new york. 🥹🍀 see you in the next one! #Vlog #workvlog #asmr #dayinmylife #dayinthelife - @lnparkx
