This one may ruffle some feathers but… It feels like I’m being bombarder with content coach advice in my feeds. And they are all just remaking and rewording the same “tips”. Over and over again. It’s very… unoriginal. It is working for the coaches, they all have thousands of followers trying to chase a number that doesn’t equate success on any level. Their tips may also work for those who head that advice. The value you place on what you make and love should never be measured by people you will never meet, never comment and never interact with you. A number is… a number. You already won when you tapped into that magic inside yourself and put it out for the world to see. ❤️ I will never be on live or posting photos/videos of myself doing art reveals. That’s just not me and my crippling anxiety couldn’t do it if I tried. My goal here was never to be famous or go viral. I wanted to connect with people from around the world and get to see art through their eyes. Everything else was a bonus. Then Curious Blue happened. And that “you need one niche” proved itself true. That little bird continues to flood my notifications. And I’m so glad one silly little bird brings so many people joy! I love the little accounts. The accounts with way too few followers and absolutely beautiful art. Art that makes you feel. Art that doesn’t make sense. I wish a could find the artist that painted the child riding a snail blowing bubbles again! Absolute MAGIC! So here is my point. Just create what you love and post it! Someone is watching and cheering you on. Some of the most amazing artist on here are not viral accounts. And some of us who had no idea ACEO art and collectors even existed 4 months ago are doing ok! I may not be getting rich but I’m paying off my credit cards and buying things I never would have treated myself to before! And I have accomplished what I set out to do. I get to see how artist from around the world create and think. That’s my win. Now… no “call to action”, no “insane hook” that stops the scroll, no “you must change these settings” just a huge THANK YOU! #art #aceo #originalartwork #artist#ebay
