OMG. @Dr. Ethan Melillo, PharmD (Dr. Ethan Milillo’s) latest post about #Xywav brought back the FEVER dream that was taking this wild medication for hypersomnia back in my early twenties. I’ve never experienced another medication quite like it, and I’m glad. It does do wonders for many with hypersomnia and narcolepsy, but it’s certainly a unique experience that requires dedication to following the many strict rules. It’s so important to talk to your doctor AND to reach out to your pharmacist for advice on following through with the directions for a medication. Even the most seasoned of us can totally make a medication mistake. Thankfully mine resulted in just a little humiliation and a funny story. #hypersomnia #pharmacist #stitch #chronicillness
