we have a Anatolian shepherd. he's the BEST boy for safety. he follows the kids around like a shadow and when moms out doing barn work he's constantly on the perimeter. we back up to thousands of acres of wilderness, often getting cougars and bears right up on our fences. he's priceless 🥰

Me and my brother in-law were out driving around trying to find places to turkey hunt out in the middle of nowhere and off to one side of the truck we seen a Great Pyrenees running full speed and jumping 5 foot barb wire fences and keeping up with us. It was one of the coolest and amazing things I've ever seen an animal do and we were shocked. We literally turned around down this road multiple times to see it over and over. It stayed just inside the fence line and would repeat the run over and over so easily.

my sisters GP did something similar to me (his favorite aunt) and he got so embarrassed when he realized it was me outside, he did everything he could to apologize to me 🥰

Love my Great Pyrenees. He will not allow anyone he doesn’t know onto our property, but is the most loving dog ever with the family.
