@aussi_punter: Half the world's food is grown with hydrogen. Not the fuel, the ingredient. This month an industry group said $130 billion is committed and 90% of it is built or being built. The same month the International Energy Agency's pipeline for 2030 fell from 49 million tonnes to 37. Both numbers are real. One counts projects that got funded, the other counts everything anyone announced. Australia bet on exporting it. Gladstone's $14bn project is gone, Whyalla is gone, Port Pirie is shelved, and the budget then halved Hydrogen Headstart and cut the tax credit forecast, saying production forecasts came in lower. #hydrogen #australia #geopolitics #economics #politics #usa #china
