It definitely feel as though the customer is being punished. Being charged more after seeing a set price because my hair is thicker and longer is crazy.

I would put on your website “blank service 2 hours or less” and “blank service 2+ hours.” That way if someone has more hair, changes the style they wanted, or whatever the case may be, you have it on your website that there is a price increase for time increase

As a girl with a lot of hair, obviously no one wants to have to pay more but I’d rather pay someone more to take their time and actually take care of my hair than to pay regular price without my desired look.

Your price should reflect your expertise in your skill set. So set the price at what you feel as though you deserve regardless if it takes additional time to do it. Up charging because the set is difficult I personally feel is unfair.
