I know I’ve shared similar recently but these sticky sesame rice bowls really are our hyper-fixation meal at the moment 🤣 easy, high-protein, balanced with carbs and healthy fats and 10/10 tasty ✅ The recipe below serves 3 👇🏼 for all of my recipes comment ‘app’ and I’ll send you the link to download it! 🔗 For the chicken: 500g chicken mince 1 tsp sesame oil 2 garlic cloves, minced 2 spring onions, sliced For the sticky sauce: 3 tbsp light soy sauce 1 tbsp honey 1 tbsp rice vinegar 1 tbsp sweet chilli sauce 1 tsp cornflour 3 tbsp water To serve: 3x 130g cooked sticky rice - I use @veetee_uk pots ½ cucumber, cut into ribbons 150g edamame beans - I use @tesco 1 tsp sesame seeds Extra spring onions Optional sriracha mayo Method: 1. Heat the sesame oil in a large frying pan over a medium-high heat. Add the spring onion for a couple of minutes, then add the garlic and the chicken mince for around 7 minutes until cooked through, breaking it up with a spoon or spatula as it cooks. 2. While it’s cooking, combine the ingredients for the sauce. 3. Once the chicken is cooked, pour in the sauce and stir to coat. Simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens. 4. Meanwhile, slice the cucumber into ribbons and squeeze with kitchen roll to remove some moisture. 5. Assemble the bowls with the sticky rice, cucumber, edamame beans and finally the sticky chicken. 6. Top with spring onions, sesame seeds and some sriracha sauce if you fancy! 527 calories per portion 55g carbs, 14.5g fat, 42g protein
