Get a blanket or a soft gel orthopedic pad. Around the house. I’m sorry for the conditions but I’ve also noticed sleeping and the floors sometimes aren’t always sleep safe pet friendly than soft to their bone structures !

Our Skye has been on Keppra twice day and the seizures went down for a while but now is getting them more than once a month😭😭🙏

I’m so sorry.. I rescued a baby who I found, had severe seizures.. My Vet knew who’s dog it was, they dumped him, and ran so they didn’t have to care for him. I tried to care for him, but the seizures got so bad. I don’t want to tell you what happened next, I’m praying your Angel is ok.. ❤️🙏❤️

My husky has epilepsy he takes phenobarbital, keppra 2different doses, Zonisamide and Pregabalin to control his seizures.

My beagle suffered terribly with seizures on a daily basis even with medication. It was heartbreaking to watch. The vet said we should let her go home to the rainbow bridge and unfortunately I listened to him. I regret that with all of my heart. I gave up on my baby. Our dog got them when she was alive. I still remember the first time it happened I freaked out. Poor Alma, RIP baby. My mom gave her some brain support supplements that was from 4life but not sure if it really helped. She was living with her at one point then my brother, then a vet, then back to my brother since she was more for him than myself. But she felt like the family dog and she was with my mom and I when he was away for the marines.

We are going through this exact same issue at the moment. nothing is really helping. She is currently on Keppra and Phenobarbital. the longest she has ever been seizure free is a month. recently its been 10 day intervals

Before my dog passed away, whenever I noticed that she was about to have a seizure, I would give her a little honey. It often seemed to prevent the seizure from fully starting or make it much milder. I was never completely sure why it helped, but It worked most of the times for her!
