I feel like ultra skins were just made as an excuse to not make actual mythic skins for the hero’s that never get attention. They have effects a mythic skin would have, different voice lines compared to regular skins and kill effects. The only difference is that you can’t change any of it it just comes automatically. Overwatch knows that hero’s like ram or Lucio for example have fans but just less attention therefore they take advantage of it knowing that that person is gonna buy that skin because they won’t make one until like next year so it’s more of a “let me get this skin because I know there’s not gonna be another legendary or ultra skin of Lucio even though I don’t play him” than a “hey I like this skin I’m gonna get it” kind of situation. I fuckin hate this game.

People won’t like my opinion, but if you like it pay for it. You can complain about a business until you’re blue in the face, but unless you’re just going to stop playing and move on to a different game, you probably will continue being unhappy. Is it expensive? Yes. Is it worth it? That’s up to you. I’ve bought so much virtual garbage between this and other games that I have literally no room to open my mouth to judge.
