I seldom wear makeup any more. I used to believe it was necessary. Then one day at work I realized they pay me for what I know and what I do. They don’t pay me for my looks. After ending it at work I stopped wearing makeup unless I was trying to impress.

I never bought into it. My mother always told me that makeup was used to enhance your beauty not take away. Now that I am 64. I don't care as much and don't have the patience for this stuff.

I enjoy makeup , can’t be bothered everyday though . Nearly 40 , and can’t say I feel as confident with out it as I used to sadly, that’s the slippery slope of it, so I do agree to an extent that it can sometimes be a negative thing. Less is more for everyday .

Come on now,, Men have their things too classic car enthusiast, expensive golf equipment, watches etc.. . I see a lot of men on my fyp having hair pieces installed 🥰.

There’s $ pushed everywhere at any stage of life. Women are especially vulnerable to it…competition within the Me Me Me group…Natural is a bad word in their world. Guys like makeup too.
