When he put a new faucet in my sink last night, when he got me Diet Coke without me asking because he knew I was running low…when he gets up before I’m awake walks the cats (yes cats) and cleans up the patio/ does the laundry. my husband showed up at the hospital during the middle of my 3rd 12 hour shift that week. he had brought me a coffee and some food bc he knew i more than likely hadn’t ate yet. We had 4 ambulances come in back to back that needed settled around that same time. That sweet precious man waited 45 minutes to spend 10 minutes with me. All of it was unprompted. He just simply cared and was patient. It hit me how lucky I am to have found him. Not everybody gets that.

I told my husband I was most attracted to him when he’s being an active good dad (ei bowling w the kids, playing catch, playing with them in general, enjoying their presence)….. it’s almost like telling him that, made him back off even more . I swear he doesn’t WANT me attracted to him. He doesn’t want me, should be the end of my realization.

between social media and working at a bar.. its so attractive to see a man being genuine. Not being lustful not trying to impress other men just genuine kindness bc you WANT to be kind to me. Pay attention to me bc you WANT to. It's truly as simple as "be nice to me."
