@sheriffinsight: A Greenville police sergeant has resumed her duties nearly four months after a fatal head-on crash on Highway 101 that took the lives of her wife and parents. Diana Muñoz has returned to the Greenville Police Department. Last month, family members shared that Diana took her very first steps after 10 weeks of intense recovery. On May 15, first responders responded to a crash on the highway near Bellview Road Extension in Spartanburg County. Crews found a Ford SUV and a Toyota SUV with multiple occupants trapped. Diana’s wife, Ashley Muñoz, an 11-year veteran with the Greenville Police Department, along with her parents, sustained fatal injuries. Diana and Ashley were married with two small children. They were returning from vacation when the crash occurred.
