no, not doing your oil changes regularly is what's killing your turbo, most turbos are also cooled by the engine coolant. yes it is not good to drive very hard and then just shut it down, but regular to mildly spirited driving you don't need to sit there and "cool" the turbos after

nope just put a good quality oil for that mottor and turbo and just in morning do not drive in high rpm if u just start the car let the motor runinng for 2min or wen the idle drops and u are good to go

my cars water and oil pump still run for up to 2 minutes after the car is shut off and locked for the turbos and engine to cool down properly

This isnt 2007 anymore coolant cooled turbos are fine, and a large new chunk of cars have after run pumps anyway

chill bro journal bearing turbos spins for few seconds it's no worries ball bearing turbos spin lil longer its no worries when you shut the car off iv never once had a problem with the turbo since early 2000 till today owning turbo cars. worse thing would be the turbo flutter which a lot of people do that kills the turbo more it stresses the turbo shaft and bearings compressor blade giving it shaft play and then smokey turbo then need replacement

Someone should make a system that is hot all times in the ecm so that the car still pumps oil to the turbo while the car is off for at least 5 minutes
