@sylvialofton63: 15 years LOOK HERE..I’ma keep asking bc I know ya’ll out there…Where Are The Menopausal Women Who Take NOTHING for Their Symptoms? I know I can’t be the only one. Like Insomnia…I got melatonin but I ain’t taking it…1:40 am and I’m up on TikTok 🤦🏾 #menopausesupport #WDNC #menopausesymptoms #menopauserelief @🖤♊️Sylvia/Sybil♊️🖤
I didn’t take anything when my symptoms were only hot flashes and night sweats. But then i started getting joint pain and depression something awful and took herbals for a while that worked. Then they stopped and i had to start on the hormones. I do understand the risks. But the depression would’ve probably killed me it got so bad. I’ve never experienced anything like it.

Too afraid to take anything as Mom got a breast cancer lump from her HRT, luckily benign but bot wanting to risk.

I went through perimenopause and menopause without any medicinal help, now post menopausal and a hysterectomy, still no HRT sleepless nights heavy sweats. the only thing I did for it was keep a window AC unit and fan going year round as needed or window open in winter and fan going down to -18°

I tried melatonin once...should've read the side effects 1st. Im already a Lucid Dreamer, but melatonin sent my mind over the edge! I was wired for 3 days/nights. It was awful & the nightmares were...beyond insane!

I took nothing. I’m 72 now. I think I just grinned and bore it along with the rest of the shit happening in my life at that time.

my mom was a registered nurse & she took estrogen but told me - that when it was my time - not to take anything because it just delays the inevitable; so i didn't

I take nothing, I'm not able to do HRT. I did adj my diet and it helps lil to no dairy, bread are some changes I made
I pushed through peri menopause unmedicated. Now I am on the other side. I have had to make some lifestyle changes. I try to get enough sleep, exercise, eat a good diet, stay hydrated. I feel fine.

it's all about taking care of you , learning to take it all in stride. If it bothers you stop thinking about it. Truly, the better you treat yourself the easier it is; take care of you.

I never took anything bc I never had any idea I was going through premenopause, menopause, or post menopause. I just lived life through its ups and downs.
