I love the finalized version of the novels, but this does sound like such a cool idea. Legend was supposed to kidnap Evangeline, right? I can see why that wouldn’t work, in hindsight. I imagine Tella wouldn’t really be ok with that 😬 would’ve loved to see Jacks’ reaction though

It wouldn't have been a good idea, that would only have made them hate Legend more. He was already living a peaceful life with Tella, their story had a happy ending, and there was no need to complicate it. The memory loss and Apollo were, in themselves, true revenge for Jacks. 🫶
