on the race track as an exercise rider we always bandaged, your technique is great, but if you sit down, lay the bandage on your thigh, hold the lose end with one hand, and roll tight by keeping your hand on your thigh,keeping the bandage tight and straight, it saves your cramps in your hand, and if your a groom, your poor cramping hands can't do wraps for 10 horses...lol.

Learned fast bandaging when I worked for a Canadian show jumper. I run it down my leg.
