@adornplastering: This is how I create traditional ashlar lines in lime render 👌 Every line is individually measured, levelled and hand-cut while the lime is at exactly the right stage — too wet and the edges won’t hold, too dry and you’ve missed your chance. It might look simple when it’s finished, but getting long, straight, consistent lines across an entire elevation takes a fair bit of setting out and patience. No stick-on profiles and no fake joints — these are cut directly into the lime render by hand to recreate the traditional architectural detail of the building.
