@jessefunstuff: She walked! I’m still relatively new to this dad thing, but my goal is that each of my kids will feel like I’m their best friend at every stage of life. Scheduled one on one time is likely going to be the only way that I’m consistently able to work on that goal. So far, Sarah and I have been on a few daddy daughter dates, and I think it’s paying off. She’s starting to play with me and try to get my attention more. She’ll grab my face and laugh, which makes me feel special. I hope she always feels special. Life is getting busier, and we wants to have more kids, so this one on one time has to be protected.
