@theknottygarden: 🎃🐾 Pumpkin discovery day for Rose! It’s little Rosie’s very first fall, and she has now met her very first pumpkin. While she was initially suspicious of it, she ended up chasing it around the yard like a ball. Having a puppy is like having a baby and seeing the world brand new through their eyes! For Rosie, every new scent, sound, and texture is an adventure. Exploring something unexpected, like a pumpkin, is a form of enrichment, and helps her adapt to new experiences. ⚠️ A quick note Pumpkin can help soothe a dog’s digestive system because it’s full of fiber and gentle on the tummy, but only in small amounts and always under the guidance of a veterinarian. Today’s pumpkin fun was all about play, not snacks! 👉 Follow for more garden-to-table inspiration and plenty of Rosie’s puppy adventures. 💬 Has your dog discovered pumpkins yet? With love, 🌸Erin & Rose🐾
