HE COULDN'T LIFT THE CHALICE - Priest Breaks Down During Consecration A Catholic priest began weeping right at the Altar... It happened at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church in Hopkins, Minnesota. While consecrating the chalice, Fr. became visibly emotional and started weeping. After Mass, he explained why. He said he experienced Jesus shedding His Blood, and at one point the chalice became so heavy he struggled to lift it. Please Note: This is his personal spiritual experience, NOT an officially declared Eucharistic miracle by the Church. But it reminds us of what we ALREADY believe as Catholics. At every Mass, Jesus is not sacrificed again. The ONE sacrifice of Calvary is made truly present on the altar. The same Jesus who died for us. That priest felt in his hands what we believe in our hearts — that the Blood in that chalice is REAL. When last did you go to Mass with this consciousness? Lord, increase our faith in the Holy Eucharist. 🙏 #CatholicJustice #Eucharist #CatholicChurch #Mass@ewuradwoa Spendi @Sir Toy @NKENKAASU MEDIA 🇵🇭🇹🇭🇨🇦 @Fr. Prince Owusu Sarpong @Fr. An introduction to fall baking 😍 was inspired to make this for our café-themed hosting party last weekend & I love how it turned out! The gooey apple filling inside and on top of the loaf makes each bite so perfect. Ingredients 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour 2 tsp baking powder 2 tsp cinnamon 1/4 tsp nutmeg 1/4 tsp salt 3/4 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce 1/4 cup butter, melted 2 eggs 2 tsp vanilla extract 1/2 cup milk Apple filling 2 cups apples, peeled, cored and chopped 2 tbsp butter 1/4 cup brown sugar 2 tbsp maple syrup 1 tsp cinnamon 2 tsp arrowroot starch + 4 tsp water, for slurry Glaze 1/2 cup powdered sugar 1 tbsp milk Instructions 1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. 2. Mix the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt in a bowl until well combined. 3. In a separate bowl, mix the melted butter, brown sugar, and applesauce. Add the eggs and vanilla extract and mix. Mix in the dry ingredients with the wet, then add the milk and mix again until well combined. Set aside. 4. Add the apples to a saucepan with the butter, brown sugar, maple syrup and cinnamon. Let the apples simmer until softened, about 5-7 minutes. Then add the arrowroot starch slurry, lower the temp and cook for 1-2 minutes or until the sauce slightly thickens. 5. Pour about half of the batter to a lined loaf pan. Add half of the apple filling to the batter, layer the rest of the batter on top, then finish it off with the rest of the apple filling. 6. Bake for 55 minutes. In the meantime, make the glaze. 7. Serve warm with a drizzle of the glaze on top and enjoy 🫶 #Foodie #fallbaking #apple #applefritter #recipesoftiktok
