this is exactly what happened at arsenal with arteta a couple of years back (remember odegaard?) - the players are being overloaded with information. it happens sometimes! it's not such an 'easy' pass when a guy needs to scan/look for 20 other things before he can do anything. de zerbi needs to help them strip it back and with more time it'll be alright for the young guys like gray and Moore long-term. it's just not second nature yet

The whole team suffers from this, we also telegraph our passes with that extra touch giving our opponents time to set themselves before the other player receives the ball

gray just doesnt have that "star" mentality which a player like bergvall seems to have seems to struggle with confidence

I love Archie and at moments last season looked very good. But let’s call a spade a spade and admit he’s a below average defender. Constantly bullied match after match and though I know it’s not his position, he’s too much of a liability to keep giving the right back to him.

Happens in general with most games I watch, players taking 20 million touches when one or two will do, most annoying thing is when a tackle is made the ref doesn’t blow for a foul and the team with the ball basically stop instead of playing go on and using the advantage, football really is in a weird place atm
