Yes. We need way more and better public bathrooms. You can see issues with the designs of the existing ones, too. They should essentially be all concrete and steel, with a central drain. That way all someone needs to do to clean them is pressure wash them. Tile is a bad idea. Ceramic is a bad idea. Plastic is a bad idea. They also need auto flushing, full coverage stall walls, better stall locks, etc. and frankly, they should try to implement bidets so people use less TP to keep costs lower and less chance of clogs.

why can't we have Indian culture towards sanitation, of just urinating or defecation wherever you find a quiet or isolated spot ? if it works in India, why can't it work in NYC???
