I think the discourse boils down to this image. Basil’s core criticism was fine, but exaggerating their take being all “begging on my hands and knees”, editing the comic with big red x’s, and going as far as to be like “see, even the Nazi is better at this thing than us”; I too would’ve told them that I just don’t like being around them
