And on larger installations, there can be multiple recreation areas spread throughout the accommodation block. Now let's talk about the food. This is today's lunch. Meals can be prepared fresh onboard every day, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner served to the crew. And you've usually got different options depending on the menu, including vegetarian choices. Now this is where you sleep. On this particular rig, two people share the room, with your own bathroom, a desk, and a TV. But remember — not every offshore rig looks like this. Cabin arrangements, bathrooms, recreation facilities, internet, gyms, cinemas, and other amenities can vary significantly depending on the installation and operator.
