The truth is this: The world promises pleasure, but it cannot give eternal life. The world offers comfort, but it cannot save your soul. When God calls us out of something, looking back can cost us more than we realize. So what Jesus truly wants us to remember is this: If God has already called us to leave something behind, why are we still holding on to it? What are people still holding on to?
