![First 21 days of my postpartum diet . The postpartum period is a time of healing, recovery, and adapting to your baby’s needs. A balanced, protein-rich diet supports tissue repair, maintains energy levels, promotes breast milk production (if breastfeeding), and helps preserve muscle while supporting healthy postpartum weight management. Here is what I have been following since last 21 days 7:30 AM - 5 almonds, 2 walnuts & 4 cashews overnight soaked & postpartum morning drink for which you need 1 tsp fennel seeds, 1 tsp carrom seeds & 8-10 fenugreek seeds soaked in water overnight. Boil 2-3 times in the morning, strain & have it. 8:45 AM - 1 cup Shatavari milk & panjiri 10:30 AM - Besan & Moong dal flour Chilla with carrots & paneer Other options - Warm bowl of oatmeal/jowar veggie Chilla/ veggie Poha/veggie Upma 2 PM - Gheeya Sabzi with tofu roti & some steamed carrots/beets Other options - Spinach Zuccini with tofu roti / paneer Bhurji with roti / Gheeya Chana dal & rice Post Meal - Dates & Nuts Bar 5 PM - 1 cup of milk with Gond sonth ladoo/ seasonal fruit somedays 8 PM - Daliya Khichdi with toasted tofu & yogurt + cucumbers If I feel hungry later, I prefer to have Turmeric pepper milk with roasted Foxnuts.
