Like him or not he’s actually trying to get stuff done. He’s only as effective as the machine that he controls. As an Australian living in Bandung, West Java, I can see the efforts being made to better the country. Systemic negligence from the ground up at the lowest levels to the middle government establishment is something that’s making it difficult for Pak Probowo to achieve his high level goals. Pak Probowo is trying to change a “what’s in it for me mindset” that’s been around since the independence of Indonesia. It can’t be expected that these massive changes happen in the space of a few years but I do feel he’s doing the best he can with the resources he has at his disposal.

whats even weirder is that ever since the first nakba israel is always breaking the international law regardless of who brokered the peace or what the organizations/treaty asked israel to do (source: ten myths of israel, illan pappe). the first nakba is 1948, its now 2026. i dont even see how indonesia could play a serious role in an organizations hosted by literally the perpetrators of genocide, knowing full well what history has taught us. and also, i dont even see how bebas aktif should be the baseline to ‘secara aktif bebas memilih’ when it comes to genocide… hhh bro just had to cry ig😔
