🤷🏻‍♀️ Have you ever had a child’s first taken from you? Or if you’re a grandparent how do you feel about this topic? I just think it’s so unfair. 😫 For Ryan and I, it felt like, hey, you had your turn, this is our chance to experience this... come on. And one of our firsts got taken when our kid was already old enough to remember it. Man, that one was hard to swallow… 🤯 I understand some firsts are unavoidable - first words (I don’t think I’d even tell the parent. IDK) or first steps (again, I might just keep my mouth shut - is that wrong???) Back to this story, if I were this new mom, the biggest thing I'd feel is worried! My husband and I just aren't on the same page. Being a solid parental team is HUGE when it comes to relaxing into family dynamics.
