most people were taught to imagine god as a separate being somewhere beyond creation, while everything else exists beneath him. but if god is truly infinite, that picture immediately creates a contradiction. infinity cannot have an edge. it cannot end at one point so that something else can begin outside of it. if anything exists outside god, then god is not infinite. this is why the deeper question is not simply whether god exists. the deeper question is what god actually is. once god is understood as infinite being, consciousness, the one reality within which everything appears, separation starts to collapse. you are no longer dealing with a universe made of independent things standing apart from god. you are dealing with one reality appearing as countless forms. and this is where the teaching becomes personal. if there is no outside to god, then you cannot ultimately stand outside god either. the body changes, thoughts change, personality changes, but the awareness through which all of that is known points deeper than the temporary identity you usually call “me.” self realisation begins when you stop looking for god as something separate and start questioning what the awareness within you actually is. this does not make you the human ego pretending to be an all powerful individual. it points to something deeper, the same being expressing through every form, every mind and every perspective. once you understand that, god stops being a distant concept and becomes a question of your own true nature. if you’re ready to understand what god actually is, The Self-Realization System is in the link in bio. #consciousness #nonduality #esoteric #awakening #religion
