Oregon made these unenforceable causing insurance to go up 600%. Resorts can’t eat that kind of cost so anyone that skis will. And with skiing being a 5 billion dollar impact to the state I can’t imagine they’d let that be affected

Doesn't this create precedent for any company to just waive liability in their terms and conditions and now forever be in the free and clear? Like uber saying by entering the car you have now agreed to some conditions and can now no longer sue?

Wouldn't the waiver only apply to incidents that happened after the signing of the waiver? Wouldn't anything that happened prior to the signing not be applicable???

I would argue that the average consumer isn’t capable of fully understanding all the legal jargon used in most terms and conditions. They need to be required to make them more easily understood.
