Tutup kedua ujung: Tutup rapat kedua ujung selang dengan ibu jari atau jari tangan agar air di dalam selang tidak tumpah atau keluar. Pindahkan ujung selang: Jaga ujung selang pertama tetap di dalam air wadah sumber. Bawa ujung selang satunya ke wadah tujuan yang posisinya lebih rendah.
