I got pulled over on Wednesday on the allegation that I was driving without insurance. I had started a new policy 2 days prior. I wrote down the policy number for the officer and even called the insurance company from the side of true road to confirm for the officer that I do have insurance. The agent offered to manually update it with the registry, because I am an insured driver. She said I could pay any Registry fees online. I was trying to do that when the tow truck pulled up. The officers removed my license plates (they even took the plate screws) and I had to pay $255 to tow my car home, causing me to miss my daughter’s basketball game. Today I had to get new plates and a new registration. I forget to get new license plate screws 🙄 The police report confirms that my car was registered. The officer lied about this being a traffic violation 🧐 He issued me a citation, seeking criminal consequences for bullshit violations. He cited 3 separate violations. Two are criminal but the third is civil…for towing an uninsured/unregistered vehicle 😂😆🤷‍♀️ The most criminal element of the towing was being denied the opportunity to use my own AAA account, thus becoming obligated to pay $255 for DM towing because it was forced by the officer, a deep-state shadow puppet.
