Had a client complain about hairline cracks. He Had the slab xrayed the whole lot, nothing wrong with it. Still complained. Cover creted the whole lot for free, not good enough. Kept sooking so i sent a saw cutter and a machine out, ripped the whole driveway up looked and said “there ya go cunt, no more cracks”

Once materials have been incorporated into a building, ownership and the right to remove them gets legally complicated and ownership of them usually passes to the occupier regardless of debt. And entering the property to retrieve them can create much bigger problems. QCAT is time consuming. Much easier if people just pay when agreed rather than being liars and cheats.
