Mine cheated on me while on deployment and even before deployment and he’s a active duty member I’ve always been strong for him helped the bills and even sacrificed and move thousands of miles away and that’s what I got in return now currently going through a divorce process

As a military wife I agree, most people don't realize that it's hard for them as well. I would never leave him. It's hard but they need as much support especially from their spouse. People really need to be prepared and really think about whether or not you can a military relationship.

As a mom of three military kids, two deployed and a former spouse of an Army man, I hear this loud and clear. We must support our people on both ends. It isn’t easy for the spouse left behind with the kids, bills to pay and all the responsibilities that go with that….and our guys deployed are dealing with loneliness, fear, knowing the world doesn’t stop for them to come home and fear of losing their lives. The point: Communication is the most important issue in their lives as a family unit.
