In March 2026, Delta State Commissioner for Works (Rural Roads), Charles Aniagwu, allegedly inspected the 7.4km Amai–Aragba Road and expressed satisfaction with the work being done. The government also directed the contractor to increase the pace of work with a target of completing the project within 2–3 months. That timeline pointed to an expected completion period of approximately May–June 2026. But here we are in September 2026, and the year is already running out.
