@amaniuppal: Stop waiting for life to give you a reason to be happy. Choose happiness first. You don’t need everything figured out. You don’t need every problem solved. Be happy because you woke up today. Be happy because you can breathe, eat, laugh, love, walk, and experience another day. If you keep saying, “I’ll be happy when I have more money, when I find love, when my problems are gone, when life gets easier,” you’ll keep postponing your happiness—because there will always be something else. Happiness is not the reward at the end of a perfect life. It is the energy you carry while living an imperfect one. Change your inner energy first, and you’ll start seeing life differently. What you focus on grows. So choose happiness—not because everything is perfect, but because you are alive.
