After stubbing one’s foot on a coffee table in the dark you never forget to put on a night light after that. So if Caleb can’t see in the dark how can an “intruder” who doesn’t know the layout of the home be able to quickly navigate the house?

I feel like we really do need to get away from judging what’s happening based off what we would do or how we live. My house IS completely pitch dark at night. And I do believe that’s safer because if someone breaks into my house, they don’t know the layout of my house. The facts of the case should be judged based off what evidence we do have. Like the door being tampered with from the inside.

I was just wondering .. Caleb says the dogs woke him up bc the dogs were scratching and the noise from the collar woke him up .. it’s hard to tell in some of the videos, but did the dogs have collars on? 🤷♀️

A possible intruder in the house and you aren’t turning on every light you pass, lighting the house up brighter than any other on the street? Let’s say I am too anxious to consider that … I use my flashlight on my phone so I don’t accidentally step on my dog or run into something when I get up in the middle of the night. If I am afraid of an intruder, I am absolutely using my phone’s light to make sure I am not going to run into an intruder while I investigate what is happening, all the while I have my phone primed to call 911 just in case I’m not imagining things.

"Even if" there aren't Nightlights...as previous have posted, it's likely that light is coming through windows...not to mention that the microwave, Coffee maker, etc probably all have digital clocks with a (small) amount of light being emitted.

I also would think the investigators would ask themselves why his first reaction to hearing a gunshot would be to check his wife. I can only imagine if my husband heard something, he’s first just going to look around, is someone still in the house? Check outside, does he see cars, people running, etc. It just strikes me as odd that’s his first reaction, to check her. And I’m sure they felt the same. I think his story doesn’t add up bc he did do it on the fly, he didn’t have the balls to divorce her, and I think Alleigha “moving on” and planning a date was the final straw, his jealousy couldn’t handle it. I also, question whether she actually was going on a date, or was just further manipulating the situation to get what she wanted. And she hates him, not bc he did this to Ashley, she hates him bc it exposed her for who she is.
