This is our main problem that the bulk of Hadith have their primary source the Old Testament (Taurat). There are many in the old testament which found its way to the Hadith. It’s not only absurd but ironic as well that the compilation work started more than 200 years later and the narrator so easily found the entire chain of Ravi’s who heard something from the Holy Prophet (SW). If we want to conduct research on any thing immediately 200 years back how much data could we collect and compile. How many Ravi’s could be alive who had heard something from other persons and the chain goes to the final end, although in the 19th Century transportation and means of communication were extremely better than the 9th Century Arabia.
