He proposing at someone’s birthday is wrong but his reasoning makes sense but still not great, she can say no she’s allowed to have her opinion, like people need to know that u can say no to a proposal, but she had given signs but he could’ve misread it, im neutral on this argument. There is no wrong or right in this story, its a pretty representation of someone saying no to a proposal (really wish she or he would’ve contacted each other)
