Flydubai Flight FZ1073 was traveling from Dubai to Tel Aviv when it reportedly transmitted a general emergency signal before briefly switching to 7500, the international code for hijacking or unlawful interference. Tracking data showed a sharp descent near the Jordanian border before the aircraft diverted. Israeli fighter jets were reportedly scrambled as the incident unfolded. Flydubai said all passengers were safe and accounted for. An Israeli official told Reuters there was a fight between the pilots, but the airline has not confirmed that account.
