8.5/10. I’ve already finished my second playthrough, and there’s one thing about Wolverine I don’t think gets talked about nearly enough. This game is ridiculously cathartic. After a long, exhausting day, I can fire it up, disappear into the combat, and just absolutely unleash as Wolverine. It’s become my stress relief game. And that has nothing to do with it being easy or holding your hand. It does neither. If you want a serious challenge, it’ll give you one. If you want to lower the difficulty and just wreck people, you can do that too. For me, that’s what makes it almost a “cozy game” for busy parents, just in the most Wolverine way possible. I don’t want to solve another problem after spending all day solving problems. Sometimes I just want to shut everything else out and put claws through people’s faces for a while. 😂 And visually? Absolutely beautiful. My biggest criticism is that the game starts with this incredible sense of intensity and danger, but the stakes never escalate as much as I wanted them to. The beginning gets your adrenaline going. I wanted the game to keep building on that until everything was completely off the rails by the end. Give me MORE. Still, two playthroughs says plenty about how much I enjoyed it. Check out one of the images I created from my gameplay!
