I went to a Mexican restaurant to pick up takeout, and my two entrées came to $39.58. I checked the receipt and noticed they had added $5.95 in gratuity plus $2.96 in taxes. Now wait a minute. 😭😂 I wasn’t dining in. Nobody brought me water, served my table, checked on me, or provided table service. I simply walked in to PICK UP THE FOOD I ALREADY PAID FOR. So I asked them to remove the gratuity. At first, I was told the supervisor wasn’t there. But as soon as I asked to speak with one, suddenly the gratuity could be removed. 😂 Let me be clear: I TIP WHEN I RECEIVE SERVICE, and sometimes I tip very well. But don’t automatically decide how much I’m going to tip and add it to my bill for a takeout order. Preparing my food and handing me a bag is part of the transaction. A tip should be my choice, not a surprise charge. Because baby, DON’T REACH IN MY POCKET AND TIP YOURSELF. 😂😂😂 Now y’all tell me: Was I wrong for having them remove the $5.95 gratuity, or would you have paid it? 👀🍿

One last dance. 🇦🇷🐐 Next week, Lionel Messi is set to play his final game for Argentina. For the goals, the magic, the trophies and the memories that will last forever… thank you, Leo. It’s been an honour to watch the greatest of all time. 🩵
