Liverpool, England — A man has received a suspended sentence following a campaign of controlling behavior and physical intimidation targeting his terminally ill wife. Liverpool Crown Court heard that 66-year-old Keith Foster experienced a personal decline involving heavy drinking and c*caine after his wife’s cancer diagnosis. Tensions escalated when he learned she included her children in her will. Prosecutor David Polglase stated that Foster became angered and threatened to harm her family, leaving her "terrified and genuinely fearful that the defendant would try to harm her family." The victim and her daughter installed hidden cameras in the home after suspecting tampered drinks. Video captured Foster urinating into kitchen containers and cups, as well as filling bedside water bottles with yellow liquid that his wife later drank. Judge Robert Trevor-Jones described the acts as a "disgusting way" to exact revenge and intimidate an "immensely vulnerable" victim. Foster pleaded guilty to controlling behavior and two counts of administering a harmful substance. He received a three-year sentence, suspended for 18 months, alongside a four-year restraining order and court fees. #Liverpool #England #KeithFoster #LiverpoolCrownCourt #japd
