This kind of salad is eaten in Guyana and in Mauritius. Cooked fish with all the garnishes. In Mauritius (use sardines), u just add raw ingredients to the cooked fish and stick it in a baguette. In Guyana, u cook them all up together and eat for breakfast with fresh thick sliced bread.

In South Africa we make canned fish like that salad you have there and make a sandwich with it with nice soft buttered bread and we go to the beach and eat it ... we call it beach sandwich 😁
