I did this little thing about 18-20 years ago called sacrificing literally every single moment of my life. Working from around 5am-1-2am Sun-Sat including working FULL 10-15 hours on every holiday. Lived in a apartment the size of a trash can in the worst area, lived on ramen noodles and similar foods, missed every friend or family gathering, didn’t have cable tv or anything similar bc when I was home I was sleeping. I wore the cheapest clothes that I could find and had no reason to replace them unless they were completely unwearable…. Ya know, sacrificed my entire early adult hood. Now I have time for my wife and kids while she drives a six figure suv that is paid for, we live in a semi modest home and invest everything we have to our kids future so they don’t have to do the same… Did I mention that my wife stood by my side during the entire beginning? We have been married throughout it all. That is probably the most important contribution to our lives today.
