Hi, had mine removed during my c section with my second child. My periods are lighter, more predictable, no stress about pregnancy or having to think about birth control. I highly recommend if you’re truly done having babies. Also, my doctor told me that bilateral fallopian tube removal significantly decreases the risk of developing ovarian cancer! Major perk!

I had a bilateral salp (removal of the fallopian tubes) and it has been a dream for me personally 🤷🏻♀️no more concerns about pregnancy, birth control or anything else!

I think a lot of people on here are getting tubal ligation mixed up with tubal removal. Two different things. If you got a ligation that is not the same as getting them removed.

I had a tubal removable at 23 and a hysterectomy 26, recovery sucked but I’m perfectly fine and I have no issues. I still have my ovaries so my hormones are fine and no more period! It’s a win for me!

also tubal ligation is not the same as getting them removed. a lot of the horror stories come from tying your tubes not removing them

Had my tubes removed in 2020 and gave birth to my daughter in 2023! Doctors can’t explain why. Checked everything out durning the c-section the tubes where still gone! But I really like the side effect even when she’s mean to me!

Okay so imma be the odd one out I guess haha . I used to have short light cramp free periods . Tubes removed and now they’re heavy as heck and I HURT . Also the time when you’d usually ovulate .. super painful . Maybe it’s not related but seems odd it happened after the tubes were out .
