It’s Saturday! 🦋 And y’all… I need some help because I’m REALLY struggling with this one. 😩 My honey has to work, and it’s my son’s birthday weekend, so he’ll be gone. I have somewhere I really want to go, but the problem is… I would have to go ALONE. And that scares me. 😩 I have to drive pretty far, and I honestly don’t do things alone. I’m so used to having somebody with me that the thought of getting in my car, driving all that way, and spending the day by myself has me freaking OUT. 😂😭 But then I keep asking myself… isn’t it good for us to learn how to enjoy our own company? Maybe this could actually be a good thing for me. Maybe I’d have fun. Maybe I’d surprise myself. But FEAR is creeping in already. Haaaaaaaaaaaaaa! 😩😂 And honestly, I’m feeling emotional about another thing too. I didn’t reach my $250 goal for the Lupus Walk. I only received 3 donations, so I’m nowhere close. 😔 Some of the people I consider friends didn’t even share my Lupus Walk post or leave a comment. And I’m not going to lie… that hurt. Sometimes living with lupus can feel so damn lonely. You realize you don’t have as many people around you as you thought you did, and that feeling is sad. 🥺🦋 But maybe that’s exactly why I need to start learning how to do some things for myself. So here’s where y’all come in… SHOULD I GO ALONE?! 😩🦋 If I feel okay Saturday, should I get up early, get dressed, get in that car and go enjoy myself, even though I’ll be by myself? OR should I just stay home where I’m comfortable? I genuinely haven’t decided yet. I’m scared, but part of me REALLY wants to try. Talk to me, Lupus family. Would YOU go alone? Have you ever had to learn how to enjoy life by yourself?
