thing is players don't wanna do these jobs. they dont make enough and demand so many hours per day. that you dont see players be coaches or gms. besides the 3rd qb that couldn't play. yes you have exceptions to the rule but this is why. why would ray lewis be a dc for 500k when his businesses and appreances as a name make him way more and less stress.

This doesn’t make no sense and the reason it doesn’t make sense is because when you go from college to NFL, you’re not about to just live in the run game cause if that’s the case the other team is gonna stack the box you gotta be able to throw the ball you’re a quarterback yeah maybe him drop him back 30 times but if you facing a team with a high-powered offense that has the quarterback that can do that what are you gonna do run the ball try that against top defensive teams like San Fran is gonna be a terrible day
